TU Delft — DIMI Deltas, Infrastructure & Mobility Initiative
When: June 28th
14:00 – 17:00
Place: Kubus Bouwcampus
van der Burghweg 1 Delft
One of the conclusions of DIMI’s last “Deltas & Ports of the Future” session is that there is increasingly a need for integrated approaches that help to balance urbanisation, economic development, ecological quality, and social welfare in urbanised deltas. Although there is consensus that an integrated approach is needed it still lacks knowledge on how to combine methods of engineering, design and policy sciences.
This colloquium will present theories and methods of integrated engineering and design and reflect upon several recent multidisciplinary research projects in which researchers from multiple domains worked together.
